Downloadable Audiobooks

The Library now offers a collection of audiobooks available for dowload through the Ontario Library Service website. You can borrow an electronic audiobook to listen to on your computer or transfer it to an mp3 player or CD. These audiobooks have a loan period of 7-14 days, and must be deleted by the due date.
Go to the Download Centre to access these audiobooks, or click on the "Download Audiobooks" icon featured to the left of this page. Feel free to ask us how to access the books, as well as for any further instruction you might need. Information Desk staff are happy to help out by phone and can walk you through the process.
The Peterborough Public Library is a member of a broad group of libraries who share this collection, so you may need to be patient in order to get your books. Please give us some feedback when you have had a chance to explore these new materials.

New Library Catalogue

Our new system is up as of Wednesday, December 9. Our catalogue now features book covers, published reviews, and more search options. Please ask at the Information Desk or call us if you would like help learning how to use the new system. Our staff are learning too, so they may need to explore a bit with you as we navigate the many new features of the system. Some features of our new catalogue will not be available right away, but we promise to bring them on board as soon as possible. Happy searching!
