Volunteer Opportunities

Internet

Internet WorkgroupThe Peterborough Public Library needs volunteers to help with the public Internet stations at both branches of the library. Prospective volunteers should have a good knowledge of computers and strong communication skills. A police background check will be required.

Contact one of our Internet volunteer coordinators at 705-745-5382 or by email.

Shut-in Service

The volunteers who deliver library materials make our Shut-In service possible. We ask that our Shut-In volunteers:

  • Have a valid Ontario driver’s license
  • Provide a current police background check
  • Provide their own vehicles
  • Be physically able to lift approximately 13 kg. (30 lbs).

If you are interested in volunteering to help with this service please call 745-5382 ext. 2321.
