Renewals

To renew library materials
you need your library card. You may renew library materials
- In Person
- Online
- Telephone 745-5382 ext. 2332 during library hours.
- Through the Automated Telephone System (745-0407)
When an item is renewed the loan period is extended from the date of renewal.
If the item you wish to renew was borrowed through the library's
InterLibrary Loan Service (ILLO), you must contact the library with your request at least 7 days before the item's due date. Our staff will request a renewal from the lending library and telephone you to let you know if a renewal is possible. Please note that not all Interlibrary Loan items can be renewed.
Returns
You may return library material to the
Circulation Desk at either location during regular library hours, regardless of the location from which the materials were borrowed. It is the responsibility of the cardholder to ensure that material borrowed on his or her card is returned to the Library undamaged, on or before the due date.
For your convenience the Main Branch provides a
book drop that is open 24 hours a day. Since there is no bookdrop at the DelaFosse Branch, returns may be made while it is open or at the Main Branch.
Lost & Damaged Items
It is the responsibility of the cardholder to ensure that material borrowed on his or her card is returned to the Library undamaged, on or before the due date. If library materials are returned damaged or are lost, charges will be incurred based on the library purchasing price plus a processing fee.
