Both Library locations are equipped with computers for public use. All you need is a valid Library card or a valid ID for out of town visitors. Computers are available on a first-come-first-served basis and may be used for up to one hour per day.
Children under the age of 14 may use these computers with adult supervision.
The Main Library has 2 Elementary School aged computers and 2 Early Literacy touch screen computer stations for kids aged 2-8.
They are pre-loaded with professionally selected, fun and educational games. One of these stations is bilingual French.
Printing is available at 25 cents per page (black & white) or $1.00 per page for colour.
Peterborough Public Library provides free wireless Internet access at both our locations.
- You may access the wireless network anywhere in the library by using your own portable computer or device that has either built-in WiFi or an installed adapter card. Library staff are not expected to help visitors configure their devices, due to the wide selection of devices available.
- You can use our WiFi network to access and download audiobooks, ebooks, magazines and more from our Downloadables Page.
- At this time you are not able to print directly to PPL printers. Please save your files to a portable storage device and use a public workstation to print.
