Welcome to the Healthy Families Centre at the Peterborough Public Library
The Healthy Families Centre, located at the Peterborough Public Library in Peterborough, Ontario, is a joint initiative of Kinark Child and Family Services and the Peterborough Public Library.
The Healthy Families Centre includes the Healthy Families Collection and the Healthy Families Workshop Series.

Healthy Families Collection
The Healthy Families Collection is a collection of books, audio books, videos and prescription pads. The collection will provide answers to questions on a wide variety of parenting subjects such as Attention Deficit Disorder, Bullies / Teasing, Behaviour Problems and Separation and Divorce.
City of Peterborough residents may borrow material free of charge from the Centre with their library card. If you do not live in the City of Peterborough, you may become a "non-resident" borrower by paying a nominal fee. Interlibrary Loan is available free of charge for the books in the Healthy Families Collection through any local public library in Ontario.
Healthy Families Workshop Series
Information workshops on various parenting and children's mental health themes are presented by the Healthy Families Centre Community Partners at the Peterborough Public Library and other locations on an ongoing basis.
