Recommend To Purchase

Do you have a suggestion for an item to add to our collection? The library considers the addition of materials in accordance with the library's Materials Selection Policy. Library users may also request Interlibrary Loans for materials (older than one year) that are not owned by our library.

Some general guidelines for purchase recommendations:

It usually not necessary to recommend soon-to-be-published titles by well-known or popular authors - the library likely will be acquiring these.
As a rule, material that is older than 2 years will not be purchased
Most material published by academic or professional presses will not be purchased.
Please submit a request only once.

Patrons wishing to follow-up on requests may inquire at the Information Desk. An electronic list of recommendations to purchase is maintained.
