eReaders

Have you been thinking about getting an eReader, but you are not sure you will like it? Why not check out ours for three weeks? Thanks in part to the generous fund-raising efforts of the Friends of the Library, the Peterborough Public Library now has eReaders in our circulating collection. Each eReader has selected, preloaded eBooks of a specific genre or theme, including:

Bestsellers
Biographies
Canadian
Fantasy Mysteries Non-Fiction
Romance Scandinavian Crime
Thrillers

eReaders give you the ability to display type in various sizes and font styles, allowing you to enjoy a reading experience that is both suited to your preferences and easy on your eyes.

Any person with a Peterborough Public Library card in good standing (not blocked due to unpaid fees or lost materials) can borrow an eReader for three weeks. Because of the high demand, renewals are not permitted at this time. eReaders can be put on hold through our e-Library Catalogue (do a search for “ereader”), or you may stop at the Information Desk at the Main Branch to see if one is available.
